Mission Statement:
To minister to the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of orphaned children, especially those afflicted by HIV/AIDS.  Nurturing them to grow in wisdom, in stature and in favor with God and mankind (Luke 2:52).

Jaaja Barb’s Home of Angels is a non-profit organization partnering with the Kuwasha International Development Society in Canada and a registered Community Based Organization (CBO) in Jinja, Uganda, East Africa.  Certificate of registration is No. 768, issued by the Jinja District Local Government.

Established 6 years ago by Barb Giraud from Abbotsford, Canada and Edwin Lufafa, from Jinja, Uganda, this home was built solely to house orphans in desperate need; vulnerable children, alone, living with HIV/AIDS or other diseases.  It is the intention of Jaaja Barb’s Home of Angels to protect and care for these children by providing education and a loving stable home.

Jaaja Barb’s Home of Angels is located in Mpumudde, north of Jinja City and approximately 87 km from the capital city of Kampala.  We are located in a lush area, surrounded by peace, tranquility and a place where children can find comfort and safety.
